Film recommendation: Pope Francis: A Man of His Word

Film recommendation: Pope Francis: A Man of His Word

From our National Minister, Jan Parker, OFS:

It is my heartfelt wish that every Secular Franciscan take any opportunity – or make an opportunity – to see the movie “Pope Francis: A Man of His Word.” It is extraordinary! I came away compelled – realizing I have barely begun to live the Franciscan life I professed. Our mission is stated clearly, passionately – and Pope Francis gives us hope! See it in a theater, if you can. The images unfold beautifully on the big screen.

I watched this movie last evening with Jan and National Councilor, Mary Frances Charsky. It was powerful. In light of 50 years after Vatican II, and the 40 year anniversary of our OFS Rule, we must exhume what we need to be immersed in. Pope Francis evokes in us a response.

where can I get ahold of this movie, as it isn’t in theatres anymore, and when it is, I can’t afford the extravagant price?
