I wish to draw attention to an error concerning Venerable Matt Talbott. He was not a businessman.
He was born into poverty and eventually became an unskilled labourer. He struggled greatly with alcoholism eventually bringing it under control at a time when no support was available. He is widely regarded as a patron for alcoholics.
Catherine of Aragon, Henry the VIII’s first wife, was also a Secular Franciscan.
