Origin:
During Holy Week 2010, a Secular Franciscan (Third Order Franciscan) named Nicholas H. Kovacs from the St. Thomas More Fraternity in Houston, Texas, was inspired by the Holy Spirit to create a chaplet, dedicated to praying for the renewal of the Franciscan Order. The title of this new prayer is “The Franciscan Family Chaplet“ (website).
